The special Carbon fiber used has more than 50% higher tensile
strength and 30% higher elasticity compared to standard Carbon
fiber. This Carbon fiber material was designed for the next
generation of aircraft’s that require such increased strength and
elasticity.
By integrating the various material densities into a single contiguous piece, the hybrid liner can perform much better inimpact energy absorption. This unique Arai developed and internally
produced technology allows the use of different densities required
to match the required shock absorption levels of a given area:
forehead, top, middle, side, and back of the head area. The density
is addressed based on the data of numerous impact drop tests.
Premium and very expensive high-strength carbon fiber material, molded and carefully laminated by a special process. Sandwiched between the carbon layers, the highest level of tensile strength
organic fibers incorporate special fibers with tensile elastic
modules, with additional layers on the inner and outer surfaces,
enhance the super-fiber belt. This reinforcement lowers helmet
weight and center of gravity for a profound reduction of perceived
weight and reduced fatigue over longer periods of time.
Meets or exceeds FIA8860 standard that is mandated for top categories, including F1
Proprietary Lamination’s of special high-strength carbon fiber material, woven in a
special weave to improve flexibility, originally developed for the latest aircraft
design & construction, was developed by Arai for the GP-6RC with a specially
designed pre-preg technique utilizing a proprietary resin selection. Complex
lamination’s sandwich specialty fibers, with the highest levels of tensile strength
and elasticity available in organic fibers, with reinforced bands of incredibly
strong fiber belts inside and out. Made with exotic, and very expensive materials.
Completely hand formed and laminated by a special process that was
developed in-house over many trial periods. Even Arai shell experts,
with special RC training, can produce only one GP-6RC shell per day.
